Unbiased Kindle Ebook Reader Review
Having decided against buying the Apple iPad or Barnes and Noble’s Nook ebook readers, I took the plunge and ordered the latest Kindle Ereader from Amazon. Below you can read my Kindle ebook reader review for this popular electronic device.
The Kindle is probably the most popular of all ebook readers and there are a number of reasons why this is. Firstly the six inch screen offers an excellent clarity in text. The special technology, named ‘e-ink’ ensures that the viewing of books on the device are authentic compared to that of the look of a page in an actual book. There is no glare as there would be from a device with LCD screens such as the iPad and the contrast in the Kindle 2 is improved over the original. Even in direct sunlight there was no glare so using this to read on the beach should be no problem.
Better still is the ability to hold about 3500 books on the device. When you consider that the new Kindle is about the length and width of a typical pencil, it is a lot smaller than carrying all of those books around!
I found downloading new books very quick, in fact it took about a minute over the built-in Wifi connection. There is no need to use a computer – just download direct to The Ebook Reader.
The button layout is simple and easy to use and turning pages is speedy. The Kindle is ready to use straight out of the box and is very user friendly.
Overall I am happy with my purchase and considering the 630,000 books are being added to daily, along with the 1.8 million free pre-1923 books, I will be kept busy reading for a very long time! This Kindle ebook reader review is written by a technophobe too so if I get along with it, anybody should be able to. Highly recommended.
