If you’re interested in buying an ebook reader online, this guide will help you determine the most suitable ebook reader for your specific needs by looking at some key factors.

1.      eBook reader specific features

You need to determine what features are most important to you. Free wireless downloads? Touchscreen? Portability? Battery life? There are plenty of options to choose from in this category, and each ebook reader offers something difference.

2.      Price

To some extent, price is an important part of the decision for most people when choosing which type of ebook reader to purchase. Maybe, you are prone to buy an ebook reader with brand such as Kindle, Nook. But please consider your budget and importance of the brand for you before your purchase. The most popular ebook reader is Kindle 2 ($299) from Amazon and fast catching up is Sony Reader Touch Edition ($299.99). Did you know that if you’re prepared to lose the name tag you could save a lot of money by getting a non-name e-reader which could be hundreds of dollars cheaper? There are cheaper alternatives to the Kindle, but hey, it isn’t a Kindle. Can you live with that? Beside, you can do all of the research you need just by reading the websites that sell the devices. At the same time, please pay attention to the reviews from those customers who bought ebook readers before because it is the first-hand valuable purchase experience.
