I really want an Ereader…?
I have been doing some research online of consumer reports, and it seems that the top 2 choices are the Kindle 3 and the nook color. I do not mind paying the extra $100 for the nook color IF it is worth it. The fact it is color, touch screen, and has tablet-like capabilities is pretty cool. But I am primarily getting this thing to read books… Please help!! I do not want to make a poor decision and regret this purchasing decision.
I love my Sony Ereaders. I have 2. I have the original one. It does not have wifi or a dictionary. So I wanted to get one of the touch screen ones with dictionary and I did not want the wifi and I got that used for about 100 bucks.
I like Sony’s because they are not plastic. They are light metala and very sturdy. The batter lasts long. It charges so fast and lasts. Of course if you want the color pictures, then Sony has not released theirs yet but I just read on mine.
Also I like that I can buy books for any ebooks store that carries the Sony formats and that is almost all of them. Also I can check out books online free from the local library and I dont mean just the classics that you can get free anywhere like on Google Ebooks but just books you get at the library.
Sony does have a wifi one too but I have no need for that. I do not download daily newspapers etc and I like to go to the sony readerstore online to get my books because I like to see it on a big screen.
Also the site is very easy to use, once you buy the books and click download it automatically goes into the library on your readerstore account and all you do is hook up your reader and drag the title from the library on the computer to the reader, just like itunes.
I have these:
