Google Ebooks Ereader

I have a question about downloading Ebooks?

I have a Sony Ereader pocket edition. And i’ve seen on a few different websites that you can download books from Google Books for it. I’ve found several that I want but I was just wondering if anyone has ever done it and if it works good? I was confused because a lot of the books are relatively new titles…

I haven’t downloaded from Google Books, but I have purchased and downloaded from other online bookstores. It isn’t hard to do and it works fine.
Find the book you want, register with the site and purchase it. (Some sites have you choose format before purchase, some after purchase–epub and PDF will both work)
Download and save on your computer, mine go into a dedicated file that I can open with my Reader software. They will not end up in the same place as e-books purchased from Sony. When you look at your Reader panel on your computer, the left side of the screen gives you choices of what to open–the choice furthest to the bottom should be “my computer” and the books will be accessible from there.
