Which e-reader should I buy?

Kindle, Nook Color or Kobo?

I like the nook color better because it’s in color and it’s just prettier but I don’t know which to buy.

Is there a nook color 2 coming anytime soon?
can you only buy books on amazon for the kindle, barnes & noble for the nook and borders/indigo books for the kobo?
like, can I only buy books on the store that sells the Ereaders?
how does that work?
can I buy a book on nook for pc and then transfer it into my nook when I buy it?

You need to ask yourself what you need it for. A kindle is mainly for reading. The ink screen is the best of all the e-readers, and it is the lightest, smallest, and has the longest life. Having an e-reader with an LCD screen hurts your eyes and gives you a headache when you try to read, for example, it is hard to read books on an iPad. The kindle is also really cheap, and amazon have the cheapest book prices. You can get books from other places, and use Calibre, a program that converts any ebook format to the kindles one in seconds, then plug your kindle into your computer and copy over the files.

If you have a laptop, or a decent phone, you don’t need a tablet for anything else really, so the Kindle 3 is the best option, which also has many features, and i’m sure that many others will agree with me.

You should check the kindle 3 out on amazon, the 3g is not worth the extra money, as most people would download the books in advance, at home, using wifi.
