Refurbished Nook Ereader

Which Ereader is best for me?

I am really having a hard time deciding What Ereader is best for me. I want to be able to read books and hopfully at least one of the following: games, newspaper and magazines, or play video (unless it is almost impossible to put on the thing).
Here are a few i was looking into:
The 1st generation nook
the all new nook basic reader
kindle 3
aluratek
aluratak libre color
kobo?? (which one)
Augen Ereader
any other suggestions???

My price range is 100 to 150, but I might be able to get something that is almost 200 dollars if I get it refurbished.

If you have owned a ereader let me know what you think would be best for me!

First decide on your priority: long-run reading or apps (games, web browsing, etc)?

There simply is no ereader that excels at both currently. For long run reading, the E Ink Ereaders (Kindle 3, Nook Touch, Kobo Touch, Sony Reader, etc) are ideal because of their paper-like displays. LCD ereaders have back-lit displays and offer a computer-monitor-like reading experience. For apps, the LCD ereaders (or tablets) are better. E Ink technology does not offer color and is not fast enough for video.

For E Ink ereaders, the Kindle 3 and Nook Touch are good values and in your price range.

Kindle 3 advantages: keyboard, 3G model available, 4G internal memory, Text-To-Speech, MP3 support.

Nook Touch advantages: touch screen, less page-turn flashing, EPUB support, SD memory expansion port.

For LCD ereaders, the Nook Color is basically a budget tablet but a bit above your $200 figure, unless you could get one used/refurbished. It’s great out of the box or can be rooted fairly easily to allow running of Android apps. Cruz R101 or PocketBook IQ 701 are less expensive Lcd Ereader options.
