Someone pleeeeeeeease help me with my Slick Ereader!!!!!!?
The device won’t sync. This is the second Ereader I have got and customer service isn’t helping again. Can someone please explain how to actually sync this thing????
Hi. I just got one of these myself for my birthday 
Here’s how I got mine to sync:
1. First of all do not hook up The Ereader until you have installed the borders desktop application.
2. Download borders application from: http://www.borders.com/online/store/MediaView_ereaderapps
(Click on the desktop: mac and pc to begin the download sequence)
3. Once you have downloaded the Borders Desktop try out some of their Free Ebooks for a trial sync. One or two is good to start with
4. Now that you have downloaded a book you hook up your ereader to the computer using the usb cable provided.
5. The sync option will appear in the borders desktop, click on it
6. Once the book has downloaded choose eject. When you choose eject it will update your media files on the ereader.
7. Unhook your reader and enjoy!

You can get free books from their site as well as places like Project Gutenberg:

To get these to work with the sync:
1. Search and download an ebook you want by saving the file somewhere easy to locate, like the desktop
2. Open Adobe Digtial Editions
3. Drag the ebook file over to the digital editions app or you can choose to let it locate the files on its own by clicking on the icon
4. Once the book is in the digital editions selection you connect the ereader with the usb cable
5. It will show up as ereader on the digital editions menu
6. Drag the book file from the ereader list down to the ereader, it will say copy file
7. To update this time you choose to disconnect device from the icon on lower right corner of your computer
8. Once you have selected the device (which I think shows up as a usb storage device) it will update the library
